American fugitive arrested in Bangkok after fleeing 25-year sentence

Selva Delano Mudaliar, 37, an American fugitive who fled a 25-year prison sentence in Oregon for abduction, sex trafficking, and violence, was arrested in Bangkok on May 3, 2024. Royal Thai Police apprehended him following an FBI request. He had lived in Thailand for over three months, frequently changing hotels and apartments. Extradition to the United States is underway.
