PTT Metro Forest is one of Bangkok’s most surprising and hidden quiet spots, and it makes a very strong first stop for the weekend. Official tourism information describes it as an urban forest project created to restore and showcase Bangkok’s original forest ecosystem, while project materials highlight its raised skywalk and lookout tower as key parts of the experience. That gives it a very different feel from a normal city park.
What makes it especially worth the trip is how unexpected it feels once you are inside.
